Henri Louis Pernod fundó la primera destilería francesa de absenta en Pontarlier en el año 1805. Desde ese momento la historia de la marca se extiende durante más de dos siglos. Este es el clásico anís de Francia que se bebe mezclado con agua. Pernod Ricard es una empresa francesa especializada en vinos y bebidas espirituosas cuyo objetivo es ofrecer "el producto adecuado, en el momento adecuado y para el consumidor adecuado". Historia.
La historia de Pernod comienza en 1805 con la fundación de la Maison Pernod Fils en Pontarile, en la frontera franco-suiza, por Henri-Louis Pernod.
