Historia.

Las Bodegas Antiguas de los Marqueses de Barolo se encuentran en Barolo, en el edificio con vistas al Castillo de los Marqueses Falletti. Aquí, hace más de 200 años, comenzó una hermosa historia.
La historia de una bodega, protegida por colinas en el corazón de Langhe, donde nació un vino que luego se llamó Barolo en honor al lugar de nacimiento.

En esos años, de hecho, nació Pietro Abbona quien, trabajando con tenacidad y competencia en las bodegas de su padre, junto con su hermano Ernesto y sus hermanas Marina y Celestina, logró comprar en 1929 la Agencia de la Ópera Tenuta Pia Barolo, antiguas bodegas de vinificación y crianza de los marqueses de Barolo.
- En la actualidad.
Hoy, la familia Abbona continúa el trabajo iniciado hace más de dos siglos: la producción de vinos de alta calidad, destinados a enriquecer, año tras año, la historia de una gran bodega donde la actualidad y la tradición se encuentran y donde se transmite, de padres a hijos, un importante patrimonio de viñedos, bodegas y conocimiento por más de cinco generaciones. Descripción.

D.O.C.G. Moscato d'Asti es la denominación de origen que distingue al famoso moscato del Piamonte, uno de los vinos más apreciados en Italia. Aunque la cuna de esta zona de producción es la ciudad de Asti, ésta abarca además cerca de 50 municipios de las provincias de Cuneo, Asti y Alessandria, sumando 9.700 hectáreas de viñedo de la variedad moscato, también conocida como moscatel de grano menudo. El moscato d’Asti nacido de esas uvas es un blanco dulce, de bajo grado alcohólico, notable frescura y elegantes aromas florales y de fruta de hueso, que suele ser el acompañante perfecto para todo tipo de postres. Dentro de la misma D.O.C.G. también figura el Asti spumante, un espumoso dulce, que con el prosecco y el lambrusco, es el vino elaborado en Italia más exportado. El Moscato d’Asti se caracteriza por su denominación de origen controlada garantizada, de ahí que su etiqueta lleve las siglas D.O.C.G., que es garante del rigor de los métodos de producción y de la alta calidad de la uva Moscato Bianco que se usa en su elaboración. Esta uva se ha venido cosechando en el Piemonte por cientos de años, donde los viñedos cubren un área de 9.700 hectáreas en los montes a lo largo del río Tanaro. Estos montes de formas alargadas o redondeadas han sido declarados por la UNESCO como Herencia para la Humanidad. Conocer el MOSCATO d'ASTI en todas sus notas significa no dejarlo nunca más. Conviértalo en un compañero para los momentos más especiales pero no solo. Para los agricultores que trabajaban la tierra, por ejemplo, era el mejor vino para combinar con una merienda salada genuina. Además, Moscato d'Asti, aunque no es un vino espumoso, mantiene una vivacidad que lo hace inconfundible. El MOSCATO d'ASTI Docg está sujeto a los mismos controles que los de Asti Spumante.
