Familia Guigal.

Domaine Guigal fue fundada en 1946 por Etienne Guigal en Ampuis, un pequeño pueblo antiguo y el lugar de nacimiento de la denominación Côte-Rôtie. Estos son Les Bessards al oeste, L'Hermite y La Chapelle en la cima de la montaña, y Bessards, Le Méal, Les Greffieux y Murets al este.
