El terreno y las fincas.

Antonio Argiolas a finales de los años treinta fundó la bodega. Durante décadas, la hizo crecer y siguió presente incluso cuando pasó el testigo a sus hijos. Hoy sus nietos, la tercera generación de la familia, trabajan aquí. Nacimos y trabajamos en un territorio precioso. Es en el medio del Mediterráneo que suaviza su clima, entre sol y viento, con paisajes y suelos perfectos para viñas y viñedos. Las fincas.

- Las fincas de Serdiana, en el campo de Sibiola, son las más cercanas a la bodega. Albergan algunas de las viñas sardas tradicionales más conocidas y se extienden por aproximadamente 45 hectáreas, divididas en dos partes: Iselis de aproximadamente 35 hectáreas y Su Pranu de aproximadamente 10 hectáreas. En estos viñedos producimos uvas de bayas blancas y rojas y probamos nuestras nuevas técnicas de cultivo antes de usarlas en las otras fincas.
- La finca Sisini se extiende por unas 50 hectáreas entre las colinas de la región histórica de Trexenta, al norte de Cagliari y Serdiana. Los suelos están a una altitud de entre 200 y 250 metros sobre el nivel del mar y están compuestos de marga, arenisca y caliza margosa. Aquí el microclima, el suelo y la exposición son ideales para cultivar uvas para nuestros vinos blancos, como los de la uva Vermentino, originaria del norte de Cerdeña y plantados en la zona por Antonio Argiolas, el fundador de la bodega.
- La finca Sa Tanca se extiende por unas 80 hectáreas entre los municipios de Selegas y Guamaggiore. Está en una zona montañosa, entre 250 y 350 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Se compone de suelos marrones y regulares y suelos calizos blancos que hacen que el suelo sea permeable. Aquí cultivamos principalmente uvas de bayas rojas: la intensa lluvia distribuida durante todo el año y los cambios de temperatura hacen que el microclima sea ideal para que las uvas desarrollen y mantengan los elementos que darán color y aromas al vino.
- La finca Vigne Vecchie se extiende por unas 40 hectáreas en las colinas cercanas al municipio de Selegas. Se encuentra en un relieve de piedra caliza y marga que tiene suelos marrones y profundos y suelos con una fuerte presencia de piedra caliza, muy adecuado para las variedades de uva blanca. Origen.

Vermentino, o Rolle, como es conocido en el sur de Francia es una uva blanca del Mediterráneo. Ha habido diferentes hipótesis sobre el origen de la vermentino. Muchos sostienen que su origen es español, a la Vermentino se le asocia más con Liguria (donde se le conoce como Pigato) y con Riviera Ligure di Ponente, de hecho, el análisis de ADN confirmó que era idéntica a la pigato de Liguria y a la favorita de Piamonte.
