Historia.

A partir del siglo X a.C., hay ciertos rastros de viticultura y vinificación en el área de Rosso Piceno DOC, importados por los colonos griegos a quienes se debe la fundación de la ciudad de Ancona. Los monjes en las Marcas fueron responsables de la transmisión de técnicas vitícolas y enológicas. En la era de los municipios, las condiciones socio-económicas de la población mejoraron, y la vid también asumió un cierto papel en la economía rural y en la sociedad, también porque el vino dejó de ser una bebida litúrgica y una prerrogativa solo para el clero, pero entra en el hábitos de una comunidad más grande de personas. En 1930 se construyó definitivamente la bodega en la villa Ostra Vetere; el fresco sótano guarda los mejores vinos de Bucci en toneles de 5000 litros de roble italiano y esloveno. Aunque Le Marche es una región desconocida por sus vinos, Bucci produce los mejores vinos de la zona obteniendo siempre importantes premios internacionales. Ampelio Bucci, propietario, es un enamorado de la Borgoña, y siempre busca esta identidad borgoñona en sus vinos. Y, a decir verdad, lo ha conseguido. Fantástico, impecable y repleto de auténtica finura borgoñona es su vino blanco Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi; probablemente uno de los mejores vinos blancos del panorama italiano. Villa Bucci Riserva (18 meses en roble eslovenia) y Bucci Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi son las dos estrellas de la casa en materia de blancos. Bucci se cata extraordinario en todas sus añadas. Tras catarlo repetidas veces para nuestra selección, observamos que el vino es más accesible que su hermano mayor Villa Bucci Riserva, cuando el vino tiene escasos meses de vida. Rebosan suaves sustancias de humo, piedra calcárea mineral, manzana, pimienta blanca y almendra, todas ellas atrapadas en una molécula redonda nasal de mantequilla y grasa de almendra. Perfecto equilibrio entre las sensaciones grasas, minerales (ácidas) y un mágico final marcado por lo salado. Para los wine coinnasseurs les aconsejo ciegamente cualquiera de los vinos de L'Azienda Agricola Bucci. Embotellado en el primer prensado del vino.
