Historia y bodegas.

Durante 200 años, Tasca d'Almerita ha unido en esta tierra pasión y experiencia, buscando constantemente maneras de hacer nuestro trabajo más agradable. Origen.

La uva Gewürztraminer tiene un origen incierto debido a la cierta predisposición que tiene a las mutaciones genéticas. La opción más aceptada, en cuanto a su origen, es que procede de Grecia, descendiente de la uva Aminea; de allí se habría trasladado a Termeno (Tramin) en el Alto Adige/Süd Tirol italiano, y en esta ciudad habría tomado la parte fundamental de su nombre, Traminer. En Tramin es donde comienza su apasionante historia; es conocida como Traminer desde hace más de mil años. El primer registro escrito donde aparece con este nombre data del año 1.000. En algún momento, sin fecha conocida y de forma natural, la Traminer blanca mutó genéticamente y su piel cambió, del blanco al rosa; esta mutación también produjo un cambio aromático, resultando una nueva variedad mucho más intensa, similar al moscatel, debido, en gran medida, a la una mayor acumulación de terpenos. Características.

La uva gewürztraminer se desarrolla en cepas vigorosas, de porte erguido a semierguido, que prefiere suelos profundos y arcillosos con portainjertos débiles o medianamente vigorosos, suele cultivarse en espaldera y responde bien a podas largas. Su desborre es precoz y maduración de segunda época. Los racimos son de tamaño reducido a muy reducido, con forma troncocónica, medianamente compactos y poco uniformes, pedúnculo mediano. Las uvas son pequeñas, ovoides, pero de sección circular y difícil desprendimiento. El hollejo es grueso con un color característico verde rosado. La pulpa es blanda con tonos rosados al menos en las partes más iluminadas, su sabor tiene unos toques de moscatel, peculiares y muy agradables e intensos. Es una variedad que resiste muy bien al frío, aunque las heladas primaverales provocan daños irreparables sus ella. Origen.

La pinot blanc es una variedad de uva producto de una mutación genética de la pinot gris, que a su vez también es una mutación de la pinot noir. Características.

El pinot blanc es una variedad bastante vigorosa, mas productiva que el pinot noir o el pinot gris, presentando una regularidad en la producción. Se produce en cepas de porte semierecto cuya brotación y maduración es entre media y temprana, y su fertilidad es elevada. Los racimos de pinot blanco son de tamaño pequeño a mediano, cilíndricos o cónico-cilíndricos, con hombros marcados, compactos y homogéneos. Las uvas que conforman esos racimos son esféricas, de tamaño medio, con una piel verde amarillenta que va tomando tonos dorados al madurar. Las cepas de pinot blanco se deberían cultivar en suelos profundos, cálidos y pedregosos, muy bien adaptada a las zonas septentrionales. Es una variedad que, a pesar de ser de brotación relativamente temprana, resiste bastante bien al frío, pero bastante delicada en lo que a enfermedades de la vid se refiere. Origen.

La cepa Sauvignon, cuyo nombre nace de la unión de sauvage (salvaje) y vignon (viña), es originaria de Sancerre y Pouly-Fume donde se producen vinos dulces muy reconocidos. Existen gran cantidad de viñedos plantados en la zona de Burdeos (Francia), y según la Organización Internacional de la Viña y el Vino, en su informe de 2013, es la cuarta variedad de uvas blancas más difundida en el mundo con 121000 Ha.




Características.

Los racimos de Sauvignon son pequeños, con uvas también pequeñas, compactas y uniformes, tan apretadas que suelen deformarse al presionarse entre ellas. La forma de las uvas es redondeado-elíptica, su epidermis es verde con estomas y lenticelas muy visibles en maduración. El pedúnculo es muy corto y robusto, lo que hace difícil el desprendimiento de la baya. El hollejo es bastante grueso y su pulpa apenas tiene pigmentación, pero es muy jugosa, consistente y deja en boca un sabor afrutado y muy aromático. Las cepas son vigorosas, de desborre tardía y dan unas producciones altas, al igual que sus rendimientos. Esta variedad de viña se desarrolla bien en suelos poco fértiles, sueltos y que no tiendan a encharcarse. Su resistencia a las heladas invernales es media, pero tolera bastante bien los fríos primaverales. Es muy sensible a varias enfermedades y plagas como la podredumbre gris del racimo, la eutipiosis, el complejo de hongos de la madera, incluso la yesca, el mildiu, el black rot y la excoriosis. También le afecta sensiblemente la polilla del racimo, los ciacdélidos y los ácaros, así como el desecado de raquis y las sequías intensas y la carencia de magnesio.




Cultivo.
