En la Italia de la posguerra, un lugar donde las mujeres de bajos recursos estaban al servicio de los nobles, hubo una joven de nombre Sabina Marzadro que se atrevió a soñar con destilar sus propios licores y grappa. Y lo consiguió. Tras pasar 12 años al servicio de un aristócrata romano, regresó a su tierra natal, donde su hermano Attilio la esperaba para cumplir un sueño juntos: Elaborar una grappa de calidad sirviéndose de las uvas de las parras que crecían en los patios de los labradores.
En el año 1949 comenzaron a llegar al patio de su casa, donde colocaron los alambiques, los primeros carros de orujo, así como los primeros clientes.
