Bodegas Málaga Virgen es una exitosa bodega familiar de Málaga que destaca por su innovación y éxito empresarial. La bodega produce y comercializa vinos secos y dulces con D.O. Málaga, Brandies y Vinos Tranquilos, entre otros.A finales del siglo XIX (1885), un hombre emprendedor y enamorado del mundo de los vinos, Salvador López López inicia con los vinos producidos en sus propios lagares la andadura de fundar unas bodegas para la producción, elaboración, crianza y comercialización de unos vinos cuya fama se extiende por el Mundo, como son los vinos Málaga. Unos años más tarde, en 1896, se asocia su hermano Francisco López López (que llegó a ser alcalde de Málaga), tras cuya unión – conociendo sus grandes dotes de hombres duros en la lucha y trabajadores sin tregua, reciben el cariñoso apodo “Los Leones”, y lanzan al mercado 3 grandes marcas: Málaga Virgen, Sol de Málaga y Trajinero.

Con el paso de los tiempos, viejas y nuevas generaciones se van relevando con el mismo propósito e idea de hacer la empresa más grande, produciendo vinos Málaga de altísima calidad y diferenciados de cualquier posible competidor. Hoy en día, la bodega familiar con más de 130 años de historia, está siendo dirigida por la cuarta generación y poquito a poco entrando la quinta. Son 34 los vinos que elaboran actualmente bajo las Denominaciones de Origen Málaga y Sierras de Málaga, siendo Málaga Virgen la marca y producto líder en Mercado Nacional y SOL DE MÁLAGA en Internacional.
