Ocupa la región de Veneto en el noreste de Italia, es una de las denominaciones más utilizadas en el país. Cubre una amplia gama de estilos de vino de Veneto: se podría decir que es la sala de máquinas de la industria del vino de Italia. Cada año, bajo este título, se produce y se vende un número considerable de vinos tintos, blancos y rosados.
