Ubicación.
El AOC Pauillac se encuentra en la margen izquierda del Gironda y reúne condiciones climáticas y geológicas excepcionales, lo que le permite producir vinos muy buenos. Capital del vitícola de Médoc, la ciudad portuaria de Pauillac dio su nombre a la denominación. El AOC puede presumir de tener tres vinos en los primeros cinco Grands Crus Classés de 1855: Lafite Rothschild , Latour y Mouton Rothschild . En sus 1.200 hectáreas de viñedos, Pauillac produce 54.000 hl de vinos tintos cada año. Tenga en cuenta que Mouton-Rothschild también produce un vino blanco. La historia.
