San Marzano es un pequeño pueblo en el centro de la región DOC de Primitivo di Manduria, una franja de tierra besada por los dos mares del Salento: el Jónico y el Adriático. En 1962, la denominación DOC todavía no existía, y el Primitivo di Manduria estaba lejos de convertirse en un vino de culto para los amantes del vino. Los suelos de los viñedos y el terruño mediterráneo juegan un papel fundamental en la producción de vinos de alta calidad.
Una figura importante en la bodega.
Francesco Cavallo fue nombrado presidente del consejo de administración en 1982. Una figura ardiente y visionaria, continúa haciendo planes para el futuro, mientras supervisa el presente de nuestra bodega. Él ha sido ininterrumpidamente el verdadero timonel de nuestra compañía.
