Un lema.

Dom Brial se creó en 1923 en Baixas como respuesta a la gran crisis del vino que Francia acababa de atravesar. Un puñado de enólogos con una idea común: "Juntos, seremos más fuertes".
Es en este espíritu de solidaridad y excelencia que nació nuestra bodega. Muy rápidamente, el círculo se amplió, la solidaridad hizo fructíferos los esfuerzos de cada uno y la notoriedad de la bodega se extendió fuera de los límites del Rosellón. Nuestro grupo de enólogos ha retenido este deber de solidaridad entre los hombres cuando eligió en 1985, como una marca de reconocimiento de sus mejores vinos (Dom Brial). DOM BRIAL, padre dominicano nacido en Roussillon, legó una anualidad perpetua a las ciudades de Baixas y Pia para que cada una mantenga una escuela para los niños más pobres. Los enólogos de Baixas, grandes buques insignia de la viticultura catalana, han logrado crecer y sostener su viñedo y su herramienta de producción. Pudieron atraer y entrenar con ellos a 3 cooperativas vecinas que compartieron su visión y su estrategia corporativa. Hoy, representamos a 247 productores de vino que cultivan apasionadamente 2100 hectáreas. Un equipo dinámico e involucrado de 37 empleados garantiza la gestión rigurosa y el desarrollo económico de nuestra bodega.

El saber hacer.

Nuestro principio: desarrollar el mejor y más regular vino posible a partir de todas las cualidades naturales de las que proviene. Conocemos la fuerza de la cooperación, que en 1923 vio nacer nuestra bodega en torno a unos viticultores que comparten el mismo ideal de calidad, equidad y solidaridad. Esta base se transmite de generación en generación y cada una de ellas contribuye a crear las condiciones necesarias para la implementación de estos principios. Muy pronto, en 1963, nuestra estructura era parte de un proceso de promoción al condicionar nuestras primeras cosechas (esencialmente en VDN). Luego, en 1977 con la adhesión a la Denominación de Origen Controlada (AOC) "Côtes du Roussillon Villages", aparecieron nuevas necesidades técnicas que tuvieron que resolverse mediante la implementación de selecciones de parcelas y la vinificación de cuvées. de estas selecciones. Los terruños.

Los viñedos Dom Brial cubren actualmente 2100 hectáreas y 30 municipios. Baixas, una fortaleza histórica, representa más de un tercio de la superficie, pero nuestra presencia se ha expandido rápidamente a los municipios circundantes: Calce, Rivesaltes, Peyrestortes ..., para componer hoy un conjunto de superficies representativas del Rosellón. Este trabajo se completó en 2001 y 2005 mediante una identificación detallada de la parcela en cada granja. De un mosaico de una docena de terruños, preferimos 5 que nos parecieron los más representativos.
